Lecco is a town overlooking Como Lake which is known internationally not only for its scenic beauty but also for being the birthplace of the writer Alessandro Manzoni. Right here, in fact, Manzoni spent his childhood and decided to set his famous novel “I Promessi Sposi“. The city is located in one of the vertices of the Lariano Triangle, i.e. the land between the two branches of Lake Como, which is also known as Lake Lario.

Lecco was once a small village while now it is a picturesque town surrounded by hills and green mountain, such as the Grigne group and the Resegone.

Nowadays Lecco is a town that has managed to preserve the charm of the past and that knows how to fasciante its visitors thanks to its narrow, cobbled streets, splendid buildings and ancient churches. Its center has much to offer from a historical and cultural point of view, while its surroundings allow you to organize outdoor activities and excursions on foot or by bicycle.
